So I promised you a big announcement. Here it goes…

I have taken the decision to split from my coach Chris and will no longer be based at the High Performance Centre in Stirling. I will be going on a trial period in Loughborough for the next couple of months with the view to moving there permanently in September and becoming a full time athlete if it works out.

I would like to point out

Just to confirm I made it through the remainder of my flight back to the UK without doing any serious damage to the woman behind me. Probably for the best really...

The trip however did do a lot of damage to me, particularly my body clock. After 4 flights in less than 24hrs and only 5hrs sleep in the 48hrs following the race I was a jibberish wreck. I became nocturnal, sleeping for up to 15hrs

The Rock should really have given up a long long time ago….I’m sitting here on my third flight out of four today and it is physically hurting me to try watch ‘The Toothfairy’. I’d even go as far as saying I would prefer some WWF right now to get rid of this. Glee. Big Brother. Even Jeremy Kyle. Just anything is better than this surely.
